As a volunteer, we request that you register now, as we will close registrations by June 30, 2017. This enables us to order volunteer shirts, with proper sizing, and ensure we get the best price available.
As a volunteer, we appreciate that you are donating your time; we ask that you respect the costs associated with each volunteer position. We love to ensure you are well fed, have adequate beverages throughout the day, have a keepsake polo shirt, valued at $75.00, and join us for the after tournament buffet dinner, valued at $125 per person. This event requires per-event training; we ask that you guarantee us you will be involved in the training for your positions, will read the job descriptions, and understand, come the day of the tournament, that we do not have time to train you. With two golf courses, 180 golfers, 50 volunteers, and 40 suppliers, this is a small business. We want our guests to attend an event, where they walk away saying this was the best event ever, and the volunteers were amazing!

Volunteer Positions are many: we customize to fit your schedule, your needs, including mentored work experience, and resume building experience. Positions are available starting now through until the end of August 2017.
All day of tournament volunteers are required to attend an on course training session, Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Westwood Plateau.
Volunteer training at Westwood is to ensure you know how to get to the golf course, includes uniform and badge pick-up, a thank you gift for attending, and entry into a draw for prizes (a gift basket with wine and more, valued at $100+) . This is mandatory for all volunteers.
Sample of positions available:
Ongoing positions: very flexible schedule (these positions start now, and require an hour or so per week)
Social media support (communications: writing a blog, twitter, Facebook, program and content development)
Graphic Designer: create a sponsor brochure and pre event marketing materials
Fundraising support: inviting donations to auction, prize table, raffle, includes some communications and marketing
Script Writer: assist with writing script for emcee and auctioneer
Graphic Designer: develop PowerPoint presentation for sponsor support, develop PPT for live auction, manage AV presentations day of tournament and support live auction at dinner
Courier services: picking up items for tournament use, delivering thank you gifts after the tournament. This position has great flexibility; however, being available some days the weeks of August 1 – 23 would be optimal. (Gas reimbursement may be included)

Registration: 7:30 am – 10:30 am
Wine Cellar Manager: 7:30 am – noon, 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
On Course Hosts and Sponsor Liaison: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Prize table Manager: Set up and manage prize table – 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Audio Visual Support: work with AV manager to load photos, run show at reception and dinner – 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Raffle Sales: all day, however, shifts may be staggered
Putting Competition Assistant: 10:30 am – 4:30 pm, greet all teams, manage putting contest, ensure contest winner names are given to script writer
Financial Manager: take payment for auction items, update excel spreadsheets, issue receipts – 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Live Auction Spotters: assist with live auction, collect buyer information, assist financial manager – 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Photographers – all day, all evening, Sunday training, even some pre-event opportunities
Golf Course Set up with Suppliers: 6 am – 10 am, August 14; (must know how to drive a golf cart)
Golf Course Tear Down & Clean – up: 5 pm – 8 pm, August 14, (must know how to drive a golf cart)
Food and Beverage Hosts: must love to serve people, pour samples of beverages, serve food samples, people who love to cook or to work with food and beverages welcome – 10:00 am – 5 pm, August 14
